Rainy Day~

It is a rainy day today and I am happy that I do not have to get out in it until I go to get Cameron from work. The weather is saying that we are going to have storms and rain all week. I am hoping for nothing more than a little thunder and heavy rain. I like stormy weather as long as its not too stormy. I am sitting hear wearing my grandmothers apron that is atleast 50 years old and it feels awesome. I have very little memories of her, but I am proud that she left these things for me. I tried to participate in the "Simple Womans Daybook" today, but for some reason I could not copy and paste her article, and I don't have time to type it all out. I am only taking a small break and then I am back to work. I have my kitchen to clean and my bathroom to clean. I only have bedding left to wash and a few towels. Anyways I wanted to say hello and that I am gonna go for now! Blessings and be safe.

Thoughts to Ponder~ a jumbled mess~

I've had many things on my mind lately and I have decided after much thought and prayer that this is a good place to share those things. I know I don't have a super popular blog that tons of people read, but the whole reason I set out to blog years ago was to keep memories and to hopefully inspire a few people along the way. 2014 in Review

    I decided that a great place to start here on my blog since I haven't really blogged in so long is to recap our year. I would love to put lots of pictures in this post to be quite honest with you, I am posting from my new macbook air and I haven't the slightest clue how to post pictures  from here yet. So I'll probably come back with just a photo post :-)     In January of 2014, we re-listed our home after abruptly removing it from the market in early December 2013, with a new realtor. I honestly  had high hopes that our home would sell quickly. Again, God had other plans. Its still for sale as I type this and we are once again planning on moving to a different company after our contract ends, later this month. Im  sure some of you maybe thinking that perhaps this is a sign that it isn't God's will for us to move. And that may be the case. Time will only tell, but we certainly still feel that God wants us in the country and that he is preparing the perfect buy

Update on life at our home :-)

I just realized that I haven't posted since our little Jonas was born nearly 8 weeks ago. My how time flies! Our life has been both wonderful and chaotic since then. So to update you all... Jonas was born March 1, 2013 at 10:48 am and he weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. He had a headfull of dark hair, tan skin and was such a sweet, calm baby from the start. I am so very blessed to have him be so calm especially after Jackson was quite a demmanding baby. He cried alot. But praise the Lord we got through it and he is a sweet, sweet little boy. My c-section went well and I have actually had one of the best recoverys ever. If it hadn't  been for just seeing Jonas and nursing him, I wouldn't have realized I had even gave birth. Much less by means of my 7th c-section! Jonas was toungue tied and we were so greatful to a new doctor in our area who is not only a wonderful ob/gyn, but specializes in breastfeeding issues and early infant care.
