Seeking the Lord Daily

We survived the tornados and are so thankful for that. The storm went right around us and touched down 15 mins from our home. My mil and fil's town was basically destroyed, but they too are fine. We live about an hour from the Crawford and Lee families, so we are still greatly impacted by the realness of all the bad weather. The lady that took care of Cameron's grandmother lost her grandaughter( age:8), her daughter in law and her ex husband. They were all in one home, as they cared for elderly people also. All 4 of the elderly women they cared for passed away as well. I just want to stress the importance of continuing prayer for all the people impacted by this storm. A week later, there are still many missing in the state. God has a plan, but we may not understand it. I think that His plan in this storm was to open the eyes of so many people who think that life is something that we are guaranteed. Prayers would be much appreciated for us over the next few days. My husbands grandmother passed away this morning around 1 am. We were able to be there for her and with her at that time. We spent all afternoon with her and the rest of Cameron's family, many of which we rarely see. It was a special experience to be together when she passed on. Cameron and I were able to share our thoughts privately on our way home. My mother was gracious enough to watch the children and we were able to be alone during this very emotional time for my beloved. Many of his relatives are not saved. Please pray that this will open all the hearts of those that need to be saved. I also pray that the Lord will be with Cameron and do a special work in his heart at this time too. He really needs to feel the Lord's comforting arms around him. I needed to post on here for the last time for awhile. We are having a major issue with my husbands parents, especially his mother. Please pray that the Lord will do a work in her heart and that His will be done in this situation. We feel that our children are in danger to a degree, so it is in their best intrest that there is no blogging for now. Please pray for my husband as he decides on taking the job as a contractor, or going on unemployement. He has to make a final decision and I am just praying that ha makes the right one. I wanted to update on Cameron's job. He is more than likely going to take the job as a contractor with his current boss. His boss has offered to let us buy the truck and needed tools for a very reasonable price and we will then be able to make monthly payments to his boss or ex boss might I say, to get it piad off. I guess thats what Cameron will do, because it is either that or be fired and draw less than $300.00 a week, which is just not feasable for us. So please continue praying and hopefully the Lord is really working in this. I am also having some issues with a lady from my past. I knew her son in highschool and dated him for a little bit. Cameron and I have tried helping him in the last couple of years and we have done alot for them as far as trying to help him better himself. He is now locked up in jail in another state for some very violent crimes against his ex girlfriend. I have a prayer request. Cameron got word yesterday that he may loose his job or be cut hugely in pay. His boss is probably going to ask him to go back to being a contractor which means we would loose our benefits, plus we would have to get the truck up and working again which we can't afford to do right now. I have been praying that the Lord would do His will in Cameron's job and that we ( me and the kids) miss him and want him home more often and earlier in the day. So this may be God's way of answering that prayer. Whatever the case may be, please pray that the Lord will take care of us and our needs during this time and that the Lord will do His perfect will in Cameron's job.
