Prayers Please

Prayers would be much appreciated for us over the next few days. My husbands grandmother passed away this morning around 1 am. We were able to be there for her and with her at that time. We spent all afternoon with her and the rest of Cameron's family, many of which we rarely see. It was a special experience to be together when she passed on. Cameron and I were able to share our thoughts privately on our way home. My mother was gracious enough to watch the children and we were able to be alone during this very emotional time for my beloved.
Many of his relatives are not saved. Please pray that this will open all the hearts of those that need to be saved. I also pray that the Lord will be with Cameron and do a special work in his heart at this time too. He really needs to feel the Lord's comforting arms around him.
We have all been super stressed this last couple of weeks with his shift change and the lack of sleep and the fact that it seems like no matter how hard we try, we can not get re-adjusted and into a new schedule. Please pray for us in that area too. We are praying that he will be back on day shift sooner than later.
The visitation is tomorrow night and the funeral is the next day. This is the first time our children have ever been to anything like this. Pray for them too and for our Emily, that she will be calm. Thank you all so much! God bless.

I've had many things on my mind lately and I have decided after much thought and prayer that this is a good place to share those things. 2014 in Review

    I decided that a great place to start here on my blog since I haven't really blogged in so long is to recap our year. I would love to put lots of pictures in this post to be quite honest with you, I am posting from my new macbook air and I haven't the slightest clue how to post pictures  from here yet. So I'll probably come back with just a photo post :-)     In January of 2014, we re-listed our home after abruptly removing it from the market in early December 2013, with a new realtor. I honestly  had high hopes that our home would sell quickly. Again, God had other plans. Its still for sale as I type this and we are once again planning on moving to a different company after our contract ends, later this month. Im  sure some of you maybe thinking that perhaps this is a sign that it isn't God's will for us to move. And that may be the case. Time will only tell, but we certainly still feel that God wants us in the country and that he is preparing the perfect buy

Update on life at our home :-)

I just realized that I haven't posted since our little Jonas was born nearly 8 weeks ago. My how time flies! Our life has been both wonderful and chaotic since then. So to update you all... Jonas was born March 1, 2013 at 10:48 am and he weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. He had a headfull of dark hair, tan skin and was such a sweet, calm baby from the start. I am so very blessed to have him be so calm especially after Jackson was quite a demmanding baby. He cried alot. But praise the Lord we got through it and he is a sweet, sweet little boy. My c-section went well and I have actually had one of the best recoverys ever. If it hadn't  been for just seeing Jonas and nursing him, I wouldn't have realized I had even gave birth. Much less by means of my 7th c-section! Jonas was toungue tied and we were so greatful to a new doctor in our area who is not only a wonderful ob/gyn, but specializes in breastfeeding issues and early infant care.
