Quick Update~

Sorry I haven't posted an update lately! We have been super busy and I just haven't been able to sit down and post. My camera broke, so no pictures either :-( We still haven't sold our home and although its a little sad, I know that the Lord's timing is better than ours. With that, I ask that you all please pray the Lord sends a buyer to us by spring, so that we can clear the land on the new place and be able to plant a nice garden. I hope your fall is going well. We are seeing the beauty of it here with all the beautiful colors of the leaves. What wonderful Lord we serve! I'll try to post more regular from here on out. Blessings friends!

    Sometimes it is hard to wait but God's timing is always best and we only ruin things when we run ahead. :) I just said that for me too :) as there are a few things that I am really tempted to run ahead on but I know it is my flesh and not God's will. Praying that you will rest in His timing. So glad that you got a second to update!!!

Thoughts to Ponder~ a jumbled mess~

I've had many things on my mind lately and I have decided after much thought and prayer that this is a good place to share those things. I know I don't have a super popular blog that tons of people read, but the whole reason I set out to blog years ago was to keep memories and to hopefully inspire a few people along the way. 2014 in Review

    I decided that a great place to start here on my blog since I haven't really blogged in so long is to recap our year. I would love to put lots of pictures in this post to be quite honest with you, I am posting from my new macbook air and I haven't the slightest clue how to post pictures  from here yet. So I'll probably come back with just a photo post :-)     In January of 2014, we re-listed our home after abruptly removing it from the market in early December 2013, with a new realtor. I honestly  had high hopes that our home would sell quickly. Again, God had other plans. Its still for sale as I type this and we are once again planning on moving to a different company after our contract ends, later this month. Im  sure some of you maybe thinking that perhaps this is a sign that it isn't God's will for us to move. And that may be the case. Time will only tell, but we certainly still feel that God wants us in the country and that he is preparing the perfect buy

Update on life at our home :-)

I just realized that I haven't posted since our little Jonas was born nearly 8 weeks ago. My how time flies! Our life has been both wonderful and chaotic since then. So to update you all... Jonas was born March 1, 2013 at 10:48 am and he weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. He had a headfull of dark hair, tan skin and was such a sweet, calm baby from the start. I am so very blessed to have him be so calm especially after Jackson was quite a demmanding baby. He cried alot. But praise the Lord we got through it and he is a sweet, sweet little boy. My c-section went well and I have actually had one of the best recoverys ever. If it hadn't  been for just seeing Jonas and nursing him, I wouldn't have realized I had even gave birth. Much less by means of my 7th c-section! Jonas was toungue tied and we were so greatful to a new doctor in our area who is not only a wonderful ob/gyn, but specializes in breastfeeding issues and early infant care.
